That's the short and sweet.  If you really want to know more, keep reading.  I was born and raised in WV and moved to NC with my beautiful wife, Heather, and our amazing son, Andrew in 2024.  I began photography before digital cameras and cellphones existed (that's hard to believe) ...but it's forced me to learn both the artistic and technical sides of photography, which I love.  I have been a full time photographer and digital artist since 2012 and have since worked to achieve a Master of Photography degree, Master Artist degree, and Master Craftsman degree from the Professional Photographers of America.

I'm obsessed with creating moody, dramatic, and storytelling images for the seniors I work with.  My goal is to create images that make seniors see themselves in a new light and leave feeling empowered, encouraged and larger-than-life.  Next to photography, I love to teach.  I have over 15 years as a Sunday School teacher and I teach photography across the country in person and online.  I am also an avid woodworker in my spare time and enjoy creating modern rustic furniture and accessories.
